AWS completed a 225 meter long laneway drainage upgrade and bluestone renewal project for Glen Eira City Council in Caulfield North. The existing bluestone laneway was removed and blinder slab demolished. New RCP drainage pipes were installed and connected up to adjacent water main pits. The works not only included laying new RCP drainage pipes but also installing new inspection junction pits along the laneway and reinstating the bluestone pavers upon completion. Careful consideration was taken during the project as the laneway was the main entry point for most residential properties. AWS communicated with council and the local residents to ensure all parties were kept informed and satisfied with the works.
